I use one that comes from Dunn Edwards paint store. It is orange and is very comfortable. Conforms well and WORKS. cost is about $25. but well worth it. I Keep it stored in a zip lock bag.

Look for one rated for "dusts and mists".
3M make a pretty good line of disposables, the old 7310 line with a yellow exhalation valve is pretty comfortable. It probably has been renumbered by now, 3M are famous for changing part #s.

I work in an area that requires the use of a respirator so I have worn alot of different kinds. My personal favorite is made by North. It has a silicon face piece which is far more comfortable than any of the rubber ones that I have worn. MSA also makes a very comfortable disposable. At very minimium, you need a good respirator with dust cartridges, not a dust mask, it would be prefered to have one with organic vapor/dust cartridges. These cartriges are quite a bit bulkier but offer superior protection. Hope this helps some.
