Respirators?

I bought a respirator a while back, and it has never worked very well. It doesn't make a proper seal on my nose. This allows things to get in the mask(I didn't find that part out until recently) and also blows dust into my eye to often for comfort. What are some good quality respirators that you guys would recommend?

3m 6000 half face respirator with p100 cartridge  works well, because most of the time when i grind, the belt runs upwards shooting debris into my face and nothing ever gets into the mask!

I've been using a North 7700 face mask with North multipurpose filters (part number 75SCP100). This filter catches most everything we'll be seeing including the nasty stuff from micarta and has a p100 pre-filter. The mast seals well to my face (even with the little bush I have on my chin), but the cartridges are a little heavy. Keep the cartridges stored in a zip lock baggy between uses and they'll last longer.

I know several guys here like the full face shield positive pressure systems with a filter back worn on a belt, but I couldn't find one in my price range.
