I have really gotten to like the looks and function of harpoon style knives, they are comfortable in the hand and look cool too. l'm not sure what to call this knife, maybe a "harpooned sharp finger"? or "trailing point with a thumb rest"?
Stock removal from 3/16 inch 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60
Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish
Distal tapered full tang
Stabilized figured maple handle
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 3/4 inches
