Restarting my collection... need recommendations

David Farmer here on the forums makes a terrific fixed blade for around $100. Not fancy, but superb steel and they work like a mule.
 
Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC) has some very nice, very economical, green Micarta fixed blades. I bought two of them and a single sheath that works for both. Total cost was a hair over $100 for all of it.

I REALLY like them.
