Restoration - 'relic' to user (pics fixed!)

Thanks again everyone! I do like that I could reuse all the original parts..... the other challenge would have been to find materials locally to complete the build if something didn't work out. It looks as though the knife may have been squished at some point as the handle was pinched towards the blade and there was some separation along the spine. Because of this it was quite easy to find a seam to split the handle. Once I started this it was a matter of a bit of gentle persuasion and the parts all separated. On the assembly I did have to clip the existing pins and re-file/shape them to get them to fit through the liner and covers again, but that wasn't too bad....

can't wait to find another 'victim'... !!!
