Restored Vintage Plumb Double-Bit Axe, Shapleigh's Diamond Edge Hewing Hatchet

1) Vintage Plumb 3.2 pound Michigan pattern Double-Bit- recently re-handled (with a coating of linseed oil) and restored. Has been re-profiled and is razor sharp. One side is profiled thick for chopping roots/splitting and the other side is thinner for felling and bucking. Handle grain is near perfect, alignment is also near perfect. Comes with sheath shown in the last photo. This axe chops as good or better as a Gransfors Bruks American Felling Axe, with perfect balance, superb accuracy and excellent edge retention. $175.00
