Restoring brass bolsters

Thanks for this information. Since the 110 has the model number that means it was made between 1972 and 1986.

The 112 is confusing. The model number is preceded and followed by 2 dots and I don't see that symbol on the chart. Did I miss something?

Thanks again
Hector

No worries about polishing the brass. Sometimes just rubbing them on jeans is enough to take the tarnish off.

Your 110 has beveled bolsters. It is post 1980 - 1985 or whenever they started beveling the bolster edges.
Is there a symbol after the "110"?
Even the new 110's have the model number (along with a symbol) on the tang for the date code.

I agree with pjsjr pjsjr . Your knives look to be in great shape. I'd just sharpen them up as needed, and use them. :)

It can be confusing, for sure. I should have added this link https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/revised-110-112-data-sheet-as-of-5-1-08.612901/

The date chart I first gave you works for 110 models after 1985...it started in 1986. Before 1986 refer to the link I posted above. If you have questions post them with close up photos of the tang stamp.

Those don’t need the spa! They are beautiful as is, with or without the patina. Use and enjoy them.
