Restoring Color to Micarta-How???

:( :mad: I screwed up (please don't remind me):rolleyes:
I used a wet sponge with dish detergent residue in it to "clean" some spots on a micarta handle. My beautiful black handle now has white spots/places on it.
Is there any way to put back the black, cover the white and restore the appearance?
 
Lin seed oil if you have it but any type would be worth a try, like i said just put a few drops on a cloth and try it out. Hope it helps. :D

This is what I do to my G-10 and Micarta: Wash it off, then spray some Tri-Flow or WD-40 on it, rub it around on the micarta, then wash it off with soap and water, and dry.
