Hmmm...with all those feather on there you can't see the pop-up belly button thing that tells you when its done cooking....pity...:D

we have a few weeks left for our turkey season here, i've only gone out once:mad: those darn birds are rediculously hard to kill, especially with a longbow....:o
 
If it were possible in a survival situation to find where they roosted at night I would think it'd be not too difficult to get one. As they fly up to roost but if you rousted em out, they'd not be able to fly at night and would be stuck on the ground almost blind. Granted you'd need to have knowledge of the terrain and such but if there was a shallow or ditch or creek nearby may be easy to herd one or two of em into it and stone or stick em...

Our spring season last the entire month of May. We are allowed two males, one a day. Our fall season goes from late October to mid November. We can shoot one of either sex.
