Results of the Steel Nerd Quiz

I love the analysis. 900 tests, that’s pretty impressive given how long you have been running this site.

A suggestion for future tests, is to have a ranked response for the question on science, knifemaker, knife enthusiast, as there is a lot of overlap. I could have picked either of knifemaker or science as my answer, but I like knifemaking because of science mostly. The statistical analysis is a bit more complicated then, but you get better data.

Larrin Larrin I was just thinking, something I'd really like to see your thoughts on are the various differential hardening techniques, where they're applicable, whether they're beneficial and to what degree, etc. Edge quenching, clay quenching, and post-hardening spine tempering being the 3 I'm most familiar with.
