• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Retailer that sells Mora's and Ferro blanks?

I hear there are differances, but I have never had bad luck with any. They all function the same. Well at least the ones I have do. I prefer the 3/8 army LMF though.

I think I'll get a 12x1/2 in. rod, put a handle on it. And then replace the knife steel at Thanksgiving dinner.

That ought to wake the folks up.....

I like Ben's alot to, I get the Enzo kits there. Also bought handle materials recently from Tracey at Us knifemakers. Great prices and fast shipping. Got a good bit of Green canvas micarta from them for a customers knives I am rehandling.

I have a couple of Boy scout mini ferro rods, but would love a couple of the big 3/8 rods. Are they all that much better or just having the extra strikes . Sometimes when it's really cold I could see shivering while holding the little scout one might make it tough.
