It is so nice to have an NO-E once again. We have gone full circle and it remains my favorite "if I could only have one" knife. I finally got time to break this one in a little tonight. It will see lots of use this summer.

Note: I experimented with the "water color" effect on the vid.

After 16 years of buying and using (some ;)) of Busses, the NOE remains my favorite of all.

Glad you got another NOe back in your hands!

Thanks for the pics and vid:thumbup:

I don't know about all of you, but I just shed a tear! :)

It's just like one of those great, old Westerns -- the Sheriff retrieves his favorite gun and all is right with the world.

Only this time ... it's his favorite Outlaw!!

Thanks for the comments guys and gals. I have had a few ergos in the past but for some reason this handle feels less blocky than the others have in the past. It fits perfectly in the hand, compact for carry, thick enough to do some serious prying if needed, etc... I have not given it my usual Edge Pro work-over so it still has the convex edge on it and works great. Time to get/make a decent strop. ;) Lots of fun in this bad boy's future. :D

I really liked the asymetrical edge on the e-models. So easy to sharpen....and I love mostly just stropping. Too bad they were so unpopular. :(

Congrats bro:thumbup:. Yep it's true, the NOe is a real under rated knife. Not my favorite of the Ergos (the BAe) but it's still a fantastic mid-size knife. Very Cali friendly but big enough to get the job done.

Have to say I do prefer my Ergos with the smaller butts!:D

Yeah Yeah Yeah....keep talkin!:p;)

Speaking of cool...those strippers are a real 10 on the WOW scale!

Stripped strippers with teeth.....funny I don't remember them having the swedge on top. And what's up with the one with blk micarta handles...is that a inverted thumb ramp? Have you had those modded? Very knice bro....VERY!

You have a very keen eye on detail Brian. Yes I did the Blk handle ST Ripper myself a ways back. It needed a little something there to prevent my thumb slipping when dressing a Deer or other animals. With that slight modification it works like a thumb placement slot. I love it!
