Reulator v. TG

Since getting the TG, I have found myself interested in the SY regulator. In a some ways, the regulator is the yard's version of the TG. Does anyone have both? I'd like to see some side-by-sides and also hear your thoughts about the two knives. Many thanks!

Here are a couple quick shots:

I haven't used a regulator like i have the TG so I can't comment much on the comparison. The Regulator does have a handle that fills the hand nicely and of course is much lighter than the Team Gemini. If reducing weight was the primary concern the Regulator might be the way to go. If pure toughness during knife abuse I would take the TG.
The visible hamon from the differential heat treat on the Regulator prototype is pretty awesome.

Thanks for the comparison shots! I really do love my TG and was thinking about getting another one or two. Instead, I'm thinking I may look for a TT regulator. I really like the look of it and have heard great things. Thanks again!

Regulators are awesome. I've owned and used several. For it's weight there isnt a tougher knife out there. It's unreal how stout the regulator is for it's weight. The handle is fantastic as well.

Try to get a test team if you can and beat it. I think you'll be very happy with one
