On Ron Hood's forum, he talked of a knife he had made by Jerry Busse. It was a Mean Street with the Micarta scales removed, the metal polished and wrapped in a non-slip rubber type tape. He called it the "Busse Meltdown". It sounds like a really cool concealment blade, or even a lightweight backpacking knife. I plan on calling Jerry and getting more info on it which I will post. Anyone else interested in this type of blade? If there is a big response, maybe they will make more styles.
