I would like to personally thank RevDevil, BladSmth, Esav Benyamin, Salem Straub, Darrin Sanders, for consistently answering my basic noob questions. They have exhibited patience and understanding, and I appreciate the care they take to answer questions without any superior airs, or make the OP feel like an idiot.
I would especially like to thank the mentioned Mods, RevDevil, Esav Benyamin, and especially BladSmth. You guys have so much to do, but still took the time to help me out. I am grateful.
 
All these folks are ""TOP SHELF"" Many others that make this place a GREAT PLACE as well are not mentioned. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE...
 
The mods here often go unappreciated, but they really do a great job keeping this place civil, and answering peoples' questions!
 
Who? Never heard of 'em... ;)

The unsung champions of BFC, I give them lots of credit for putting up with some of us and still being there giving their time to answer questions while keeping BFC safe from trolls, miscreants and mean people in general. :thumbup:
 
They're all good guys, but Bladesmith has ta be a saint. He's answered thousands upon thousands of newbie questions over the years, including mine: often the questions are repeats, and guys could do a little research and get the answers. But Bladesmith, Stacy, never loses his cool. He's a cool guy in person too, and you should see his booth in knife shows!
 
You're very welcome for any help I've provided and thank you for the kind words. It means a lot to be complimented in the same sentence with such great guys.
 
Alll mentioned are worthy of their post. For me Mr Benyamin has been an absolute champion. I was in a thread and we were tossin the topic back and forth and a member, not so nice, began to say things others might find offensive, religious things about certain peoples. Mr Benyamin very kindly and patiently guided the fellow back to topic. I woulda gone nuts. You are quite the fellow Esav, and you have the Scottish gypsy seal of approval...:thumbup:

Yep. In my short time here I've seen them go above and beyond time after time. Would hate their job. I have the patience of a housefly on a coffee bean.

You guys, mods, do a great job. I've been contacted by them for language when I first started posting (rightly so),but that was so little compared to what they do and put up with. Good people all!😎😁👍
 
The thing about this forum and basically anywhere you enter into a group with some level of management (think work) you need to prove you're going to be a + and not a - to that group....it's the only way anything social will keep some resemblance of functionality....

I think many of us go through a period where we are more - than + and speaking for myself, the Mods are here to help nudge us in the right direction. It's up to us to get their "hints"

I owe a ton of thanks to all the Mods, but especially Rev for helping me figure out that this forum is not my personal playground to exercise my moments of self indulgence...
 
I would agree with OPs sentiment, and am glad to see Rev and Ben still keeping the place clean!!
 
Rev and Ben are all round great guys, level headed and most of all treat everyone fairly. They also call it like they see it!

+1 those folks that like to constantly rip on the mods need to be in their shoes for a day or 2 ,bet they'd see things differently .

Been here awhile now and I've always been treated fair . I've been quick on the keyboard before not going to lie and I got popped for it , it was 100% my fault though . I've never been treated better or worse than anyone else . Personally I think we take advantage of having good mods here ,only when your somewhere and you have bad mods do you really appreciate the good ones .

Rev , Esav, Morrow keep doing what your doing this place is what is is because of how yall run it .
