Reveal 11: Manix 2 in 15V sprint run

Well according to Larrin, 15V has outstanding edge retention at the expense
of toughness and corrosion resistance. I’m guessing performance similar to maxamet but it doesn’t show up often so I’ve never used it.

Looks like it'll sell out quick, get flipped for a few months, then die down (I might buy one during the die down period lol).

How about that 300$ stretch XL huh? I've never had a knife boner die down so fast lol...

I also had a strange feeling when I got my REX76 Mule and it said made in Taiwan...

Anyway, nothing negative, just...strange feeling

I'm excited about it as well. I wonder when it will be released?

I also said this: "However, if you compare with some popular stainless PM grades like 20CV/M390 you may be surprised that 15V toughness is not lower than it is. This makes sense given that both 15V and M390 have a similar volume of carbide, so their toughness is also similar."

I did notice that but I didn’t want to get too detailed and out of my depth. The graph put it pretty close to Maxamet (which also has better wear resistance) so I didn’t think that was worth mentioning. It is good to know that it should be adequate for edc usage. I’m excited to try it out.

It was listed but they removed it for some reason. Maybe they had the wrong price? $157 seems a little low for such an exotic steel. I was expecting Maxamet prices.

I'm pretty sure all the pre-order slots were filled very quickly. I could be wrong ;)
