Isn't it interesting that Boker is unvieling a new steel, X15 T.N? It claims to have rust resistance, superior edge retention, and ease of sharpening. Where could they possibly have gotten the notion to replace carbon with nitrogen?

While I am still interested in the genesis of this new steel; I appologize for naming Boker in my post and do not wish to infer any wrongdoing by their staff of engineers. My post was obviously in bad taste and should not be considered representative of the members of this forum.
