Here is a little knife that was designed and patented by Garry Burch from Indiana. He lets me build a few if I promise to put his patent number on them before I ship them out. He intends the knife to be used to field dress game and fish in place of a gut hook which we both find difficult to sharpen and sometimes difficult to use. I have carried one of these for over 10 years and used it to open up white tail, elk, fish and cardboard boxes. It slides nicely under the skin of an animal and just will not dig into the paunch. In case it does not show well in the photo, the sharp part of the blade is on the top and the cutting action is up and away from the user.

.This is the smallest version which meastures 5 3/4 inches overall with a 1 3/4 inch cutting length. I find this plenty of knife for the job.

Your comments are welcome by both Garry and me.

Love the handle material on that one. I appreciate every knife you make so this is just another GL classic craftsmanship in my eyes.
