I am looking for a quality folder which would allow me to clip the knife in my pocket with the blade point up (thumb nut down). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Or the BM 720 if you are right handed.

you said thumb nut, but if you're not opposed to the spyderco hole, they have many models with a tip up clip. the native, delica and endura immediately come to mind.

Definitely either a Spyderco Delica or Endura. I like the comboedge but any of them are good.

Fix it right the first time, use Baling Wire !

yeah the Spyderco Delica or Endura fit your requirements and are great knives for the money

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold the great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads...And His tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Since you mentioned a reversible clip, I'll add my vote to the Spyderco Endura - great bang for the buck.

I haven't handled a BM 710 yet, but most folks say good things about it. They're more expensive than the Endura, but the lock is supposed to be stronger. OTOH, I really like the Spyder Hole...
