I have a dilemma.

There are two knifemakers I've purchased 4 or 5 knives from EACH. Many were made CUSTOM just for me to suit my specs and desires.

I'd love to post some good photos and details about the knives and my experiences with these two makers for the benefit of the makers and BF members who want to learn about their work...

BUT, I've barely used any of these, so I can't really do a proper review.

So?

Post a "Review" anyway? Or just a bigarse GB&U post on each of them?

.

Since they are customs, the quality of materials and workmanship is somewhat equivalent to functionality in a production knife. You could then review fit & finish and experience dealing with the makers.

I would see GBU as more appropriate if you were describing just the buying experience itself, not the knives.

Talk about buying knives here in TGB&U.

Talk about knives in Blade Discussion or Customs or Reviews & Testing.

Ahh! Good thinking.
Now that you mention it, I guess I a person CAN "review" things OTHER than performance during use.

Thanks!
