Review of online seller?

Has anybody here bought anything from gotknife.com? I've never heard of them before, and can't find any reviews (positive or negative) of them online. But they have something I haven't been able to find in-stock anywhere else - so while I don't want to give my credit card info to scammers, I also don't want to miss this if they are legit.

In these situations it’s usually people posting that they purchased the item but it’s technically not in stock. Then you have to fight to get a refund and the end of thread is “if it’s too good to be true, it usually is”. If they were legit, with high probability there would be reviews, and the item would be out of stock along with everywhere else.

Looks like they're legit, they have all the tangibles and the address comes up Sonoma Cutlery in California with Yelp reviews.

They also take paypal so you have buyer protection on there.

I'm not familiar with them though.

don't know this seller, but sometimes if no one else has in stock and its discontinued item etc and they show in stock.....someplaces will show in stock and it isn't. software issues or not updated regularly and other reasons this can happen. worth a call or email to verify in stock. can save both of y'all time and headaches.

I would add that them saying they have it in stock without taking time to check can indicate a shady site, especially when it comes to hard to find items.
