Hi Axel,
I just got my Wave last week. Here are some of my observations:
1. I like the leather sheath, much nicer than their old sheaths--not that stiff cheap appearance.
2. The round handles make this 10X better to handle than my old Leatherman, much more comfortable
3. The 4 external lockblades are a real plus. The blades are 2 3/4", nice locking mechanism, very mild blade wobble, less than I thought from reading previous posts.
4. Scissors are a major plus
5. The internal tools are typical of Leatherman's other tools, so no complaint there.
The plain edge and serrated edge are a breeze to open one-handed for right handed users. The Saw and the file have a thumb nitch, thus can't be open one-handed.
The only thing I didn't like was it was scratched out of the box. I guess on the production line it may have come into contact with other tools, that was just a mild annoyance. The blades had some metal grit on them and the action was a little tight, but that was remedied by wiping the tool with Tuf-Cloth and applying some Tuf-Glide to the joints.
Great tool! I'm really happy with it
Hope that helps
Regards,
