My brother, partner, and myself all have Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawks and we really like them.
Good balance, easy to sharpen.

Eye, I'm primarily concerned w/ performance. I.e., how they hold up performing in a campsite/yardwork situation. You know, chopping wood and limbing. Any hotspots? Does the tool do most of the work or do you have to put some oomph into it to get it to do its thing? Edges hold up well? And finally, for utility purposes (I'll try throwing later), which would be recommended? Keep in mind that I like to pack light, though. Thanks.
