Hello, Mr. Ralph! I'm from Russia. Here is the review of your HTM 5.5 from our russian forum.

Its in russian but I think its possible to translate it. Must say this knife had really BIG problems. And the owner of this knife had big problems with DDR, trying to contact you and repair the knife, it was AWFULLY made! Finally you've repaired it, but(your words):

We have repaired the knife the best we can.

The blade after re cutting the lock back to normal will be off center.

There is not a way to repair the lockup.

Other than that everything is standard."

After that the owner sent you a letter, he didn't like the "off centered" blade. And your answer:

"OK
Enjoy!"

We were shocked, we didn't expect such way of making business and attitude! Please, try to translate and read this review, there are a lot of photos and many russian knife-fans saying what they think about the quality of HTM and your customer service.

This is all BS! I received a Trigger Maze from Darrel and sent it back to him for a minor little gripe which was not a flaw but a personal tune up issue and he went out of his way to make it perfect. He even sent it back to me Fed X at his expense. My Trigger maze is flawless and IMO Mr Ralph would make any legitimate issue with one of his knives (which are State of The Art) good.

I shouldn't have right here, if I didn't know all the details! You make a great job repairing this knife, even knowing nothing, where it was bought, and seeing that it was altered. SIR, PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES! I decided to start collecting your knives, if only you will sell 'em after all I've said! Please don't think bad about Russia and russain fans, I beg YOU!

Ok I wrote my response before I read this man from Russia's appology to Darrel. It seems the truth has already come out. By the way I have 3 of Darrel's knives and 2 on order. That should tell the tail....

It is honorable when a man admits his mistake. For that I give you the utmost respect. You must understand that Darrel has a very loyal fanbase, and many of those fans still keep in touch with Darrel. Darrel's not out to con anyone by selling flawed knives. If something does get sold that has some defect, Darrel always goes out of his way to try to fix it. He stands by his product 100%. It's not enough for his product to exchange hands from his to the end user. He tries to make sure his users are happy. With that said, I've witnessed his customer service first hand when I sent one of his knives back because the blade kept hitting one of the studs which caused it to chip. He didn't ask me any questions and just said to send it back.

Now, I can't read Russian, but I hope all of Russia doesn't hate Darrel because of miscommunication. We all know that rumors have a way of spreading. With that said, you're welcome here any time.
