Should Exchange Sellers be required to only accept Paypal Goods and include the fees in the listed price?

I think so. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this should be the case.

Quite frankly, I'm fed up with reading:

"... add 3.5% if you want to buy it as goods."

"I only take PP need to add 4%."

"... shipped Paypal gift or add 4%."

"... preferred payment method is PayPal gift of +3% for fees."

"Asking $--- paypal gift..."

Add 4%? Seriously? Paypal doesn't even take that much. It's 2.9% + $.30 per transaction just to clarify.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask Sellers to only post prices with the fees included. Anyone who thinks otherwise should simply consider how truly inconsequential the fees are. On a $500 transaction, Paypal only takes about $15. IMHO, if you can afford to have a $500 knife, you can afford $15 in fees to ensure a safe transaction. $200 sale? They take $6.10. Whoop de doo! You get the drift.

If someone has a problem calculating the fees, there is a website that will do it for them. Fee Calculator. It's pretty simple folks. And if you want exactly $500 for your sale? Ask $515.24 up front, which I know is an odd amount but you get the point here.

I understand some individuals deal with each other frequently enough that they have the trust to use Gift payment. But in that case they could simply exchange emails/PMs and come an agreement that way if that's their preference.

I also understand that overly regulating the BladeForums Exchange could cause some individuals to refrain from selling here but we should expect them to uphold Paypal's Terms of Use if they're going to require that form of payment.

As someone who has Gifted in the past and was ripped off, I can't be more adamant about using Paypal the way it was intended. Goods and Services not Gift.

Additionally, I know the Mods already have enough on their plates but doing this might save some issues later on. Thanks to RevDevil, rycen, Esav, and any other Mods I may have forgotten.

I'd be glad to hear any objections to this, as I may not have considered every situation but I think it's pretty cut and dried.
