Here is the reason I made my original post about revmic. In view of the recent other posting, I decided to go into more detail as to what that was about.
This is about my view of his ethics and honor and the way he handles things.
Several week ago I was tring to buy a buck 110 converstion from revmic. There became a confusion and misunderstanding on both our parts as to what was happening. A number of different people were involved all wanting the knife, someone else got the knife. I had expressed my concern as to what happened.
A series of e-mails back and forth between us were cordial and above board, revmic decided to as he put it 'make it right' and sent me a "consolation" knife that if I liked it I could buy for the same price as the buck 110 conversion or if I didn't he said just keep it. To pacify my frustration. I had no idea what he was sending until it showed up. This is the knife he sent me.

I told him, I wasn't looking for something for nothing, that the value of this knife was way beyond the value of the knife in the original deal and that I would pay the fair market value for it. He insisted that the price was to be the same as the original deal.
I sent him the money requested and a token of my appreciation for his concern.
I believe we both walked away from this situation feeling good about the end result.
