at how far he went to make a deal right. We had a slight snag in our deal (I had two addresses; my return address was different from where I wanted the knife shipped). Somehow there was a communication tangle along the way, and my knife got sent to the wrong one, so I had to wait a couple of weeks before I got to it. Which, really, is at least partly my fault for being in such a confusing situation anyway.

But in order to make up for making me wait a couple of weeks, Danny turned around and sent me another knife, completely out of the blue. Totally made my day, and it's definitely on my "don't lose this life" short-list -- it would be even without the circumstances, since it's a nice knife.

I'm sure I don't even need to say this, but I would absolutely deal with Revolvergeek again.

It probably comes as no surprise to anyone that's been here for a while, that I've in the past deemed the GIN-1 (G2) FRN Spyderco Endura/Delica knives as some of the best knives ever made, ever, ever, ever...

My story went like this...I bought 2 each FRN Endura/Delica models some years ago, and deliberately abused the 'friggin B'Jesus' outta them...

Somewhere along the way I lost one of each, leaving the other two subject to my daily abuse...I was really trying to kill these knives, and I couldn't!

In a moment of dispair, and this after some years of abuse, I sold the remaining pair to Danny for a song...with the caveat that they 'were trashed'...

Upon receipt of the knives, I got an email back that went something like...'Hell, these are barely used, plenty of life still left in 'em..."

A year later, I've now gone through 8 EDC's looking for an adequate replacement for those two knives that I carried for some 8 years...and am still looking.

Enjoy! Revolvergeek, Danny, it's been a pleasure...and I hope that before you check out, you can kill at least one of those knives, cuz I sure couldn't...lol

Yep, a good dude, with a good attitude...highly recommended! :)

I also did a transaction with him once. It went very smooth and I would definately deal with him anytime.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

James,
Glad you like that little Victo Gardener ; they are really nice simple little knives. I know how dissappointing it can be when you have to wait for a long time (WEEKS  )for new toys, so I thought that a little something was in order since I should have been paying closer attention.

Mel,
Both of those two are still going strong. The Endura has been riding in the dashboard of my truck for a long time getting used pretty regular. The Delica got cleaned up and reground, carried for a while and then finally found its way to Australia where and entire new continent can try to kill it!

Richard,

Thanks, I would be glad to deal with you again any day.
