rewappen knife

i have a rewappen hunting knife i was looking for information on it i searched the web and cant find much, on the blade its says original buffalo skinner, supper hallow ground. rewappen solingen germany. i know solingen is the town it was made in. i was wondering about the date, history, or any other information about the knife.

Very nice blade there mate.
"Buffalo skinner" name sake comes from the old US frontier . Its used in the same context the name "Original Bowie" That a lot of blades were marked a century ago, and still are from Europe like Puma.
They have now shut up shop, Linder of solingen still sell some of there knives.
They use to make some very nice Hunting short swords. I believe they also made dress daggers for the Nazi forest commision. Their work is very good.
