Thanks for posting my pics. They are not great but you get the idea. Hopefully I can get some better pics soon.
I am new to knifemaking and want to concentrate on Japanese style knives. I decided to use my Rat Tail as a project/learning tool for practicing the cord wrap method. I cut off the original wrap, added black shark skin and a small dragon menuki. Then I re-wrapped the handle and epoxied it just before taking these pictures. The epoxy is still drying as I type this response.
It makes this neat little Swamp Rat knife even better.

That is a good looking wrap. Nice Job.

I have one that is very similar to this, minus the menuki. Wally wrapped it for me with Ray Skin underlay.

Wow! That really lifts the little RT to a new level! I'd never seen one "live" until a couple of days ago and I really like it!
