Has anyone tried these? I just got them and I like them so far. I was thinking about using them to seal some rice, some beans, some instant potatoes, maybe some trail mix. Anyone have any ideas?

My mom has one, and she seems to like it fairly well. It has more power that I thought it would, as I wasn't paying attention, and ruined some treasured Christmas cookies. I think for what I would use it for, I'd rather have much smaller bags, for water-proofing smaller items. Some larger bags might be nice for compressing some backup clothes for a BOB though.
