RHc for a hammer?

What would be a good hardness to temper a 2lb S7 hammer head to? It will be used for forging. Thanks

I made my power hammer dies out of S7 and had them heat treated to 55 RHC. Seem to work great so far. I have been using them for about a year now.

I was going to guess the lower 50s, so 55 sounds good to me.
