Rhynowet Sand Paper - SiC or AO?

It looks like they only accept Credit cards, not Paypal.. so I have to load up a prepaid and do it that way. Anyway, once I get this stuff i can begin the annoying job of hand sanding blades :P

You may have ordered already- but for the future, have you considered getting a Paypal debit card? (Not credit.) It's easy to get, and pretty convenient for paying at non PP friendly sites, or withdrawing or spending money you get from knife orders into your PP account.

I have to get some more Redline paper, I dropped $100 on some 18 months ago, am just now starting to run out. A very good investment.

how does this compare to black ice

I have tried just about everything out there, including some of the fancy new-fangled Japanese abrasive film... but Rhyno is my favorite.

I bought Black Ice because I heard so many good things about it, and was pretty happy with it, until I used Rhyno.

A Ms you and I both know well, told me he thought it was good for inexpensive paper.... which surprised me, because I think it's better AND cheaper.

A lot of my friends that are world class makers, like Burt Foster, Mike Quesenberry, Russ Andrews, etc... have all been using it. :)

Black Ice is better than the Rhyno SC stuff IMO. BUT, I only know that because Mike Barton gave me a couple of sheets of the Redline stuff and I ended up ordering the wrong paper!!! I assumed that it was SC because AO isn't supposed to cut like that. Their AO paper is REALLY freakin' good.

Rhynowet Redline from 120X to 1200 is AO, and 1500X to 2500X is SC....according to a rep
I spoke with.
I've used many of the other papers, and prefer the Redline......

FWIW......Ed Henry recommended AO paper for blade finishing.
