Here's a pointy bowie. 15 1/8" overall, 10" blade. 1095 blade, mild steel guard and green G10 for the handle. It's a beast, yet still light and fast.

Rib Tickler ? The fine Northern Italian Restaurant here is gone , replaced by the Riverside BBQ .so you could get use from that knife . Good to see you're getting a bit away from the blacksmith only thing . That's about the only change here this winter.

Robert i was just up there, the little place down from Castello's? how sad!

it's good to step it up a little bit

Looking good Sam! It is sleek and tough looking, very nice combo.

Sorry Robert, I was passing through on my way to CT didnt have a chance for much away time but next time for sure!

Good stuff Sam! It looks very very stabby! :D

But I don't know about paring G10 with a forged blade...

Haha Hey Nick thanks! that means alot! You want to send me some nice wood>? :D i like the g10, first time I ever used it actually, except for the crippling stench it finishes so nice and even.

Yea, I love the stuff. It's pretty nasty to work with! But it machines, grinds, finishes nice, and it's tough as nails.
