I just wanted to tell everyone that Mr. Velarde is a great guy.
I emailed him about taking the knifemaking class that J.P. Moss offers here in Texas. He responds that I should give him a call.
I called him on the phone and he spent half an hour or more telling me about knifemaking. he lod me about the course and about Mr. Moss.
He also gave me information on what equipment I would need to buy and where to buy it.
I know he was busy getting ready for the Solvang show because I could hear him using a file on one of his integrals in the background as we talked. Getting ready for a show and he still takes the time to talk to help a fellow knife collector.
