Ricardo Velarde Integral Hunter in Amboyna:
  • Ricardo studied under Ditmar Kressler, and it shows that he was a stellar student.
  • The integral knife is a thing of technical beauty, and Ricardo is top shelf along w/ Kressler (well beyond Dowell)
  • They are both admirer's of the Bob Loveless school of design.
  • This integral is mint. Mirrored finish. 3-3/8" blade, 8" OAL. BG-42
  • Cross hatching on top of handle is super.
  • Tapered Tang transitions to a full integral pommel.
  • Half guard handle section adds heft.
  • Premium Amboyna Burl is gorgeous.
  • Quality leather sheath
  • My amateur photography doesn't do this beauty justice.
  • $1400 => $1299 $1099 shipped CONUS. No international shipping. See terms below. Ricardo's starting price for a full integral hunter is now $1850 + $100 for exotic wood.
Terms:
  • Paypal strongly preferred, and I’ll split the 3.5% costs with buyer, so add 1.75% to price.
    Paypal to rdangerer@gmail.com
  • USPS Money Order a very distant second place. Preference given to buyers using Paypal.
  • No overseas shipments… will ship into New York state only if buyer certifies they take all risk once I convey a scan of shipping & insurance receipt
  • Buyers must be 18 years of age.

For sale, no trades please:

Here's a tour de force from Siska:

Jim Siska Subhilt in Rados Turkish Damascus & ivory
  • 10-1/2" Rados Turkish Twist damascus blade. 16" OAL. Balances with finger in the blade groove ahead of the hilt. 1/4" stock.
  • Blued Rados turkish twist hilt, subhilt, pommel, and fineal
  • One piece Fossilized walrus ivory handle, in a beautiful caramel color with just a hint of a pinkish hue, which indicates that this tusk fossilized near gold while morphing into a fossil.
  • Sheath is a simple, but quality smooth black leather, and it comes inside a nice nylon zippered case.
  • Absolutely stunning example of Siska's prowess with the double hollow ground, recurve fighter pattern he is so famous for. Siska is one of the very top subhilt makers extant, and this is a top shelf example of his ability.
  • The Rados Turkish twist deserves special mention. The billett for this knife was well north of $1500 I was told by the dealer (and he'd know). Rados turkish twist is in a class by itself. No one does this pattern tighter or with better contrast in my experience. It's a complex, time consuming pattern, and the etch is unbelievable. And for Siska to hot blue the same Turkish twist for the hilt, subhilt, pommel and fineal is the ultimate. Amazing steel, amazing knife. You don't know how hard this post is to write and actually hit "Submit New Thread". Gulp.
  • $2995 =>$2799 $2790 plus actual shipping & insurance costs. We'll need to do a USPS Money Order or a Cashier's Check for this one. Paypal fees would be too much to stomach.
Terms:
  • Absolutely no overseas or out-of-country shipments on this one, no exceptions. I will only ship to an address in the USA.
  • Buyers must be 18 years of age.
  • Will ship this one Fedex 2nd day to minimize exposure to vagaries and the elements.
