First post ever for me and what prompted it was Richard. I was aware of this site for some time and discussed it many times with Richard but I don't usually have too much time these days to get involved in much else.
After recieving my knife from Rich in person last week, I had to sign up finally and give him a proper shout out.
After almost a year I finally got my Model 8 and Model 10 Kerambits and let me tell you something folks....WOW- they are absolutely perfect in every way.
I've done some Martial Arts that are related to this style knife before and I also own several Kerambits from customs to production and these are by far the best I own. They fit the hand like a glove and without any discomfort what so ever, unlike the others. Even though the other brands and makers are very good knives they are just missing that certain something that Derespina's have.
THe Model 8 is a custom job with serrations and a cool engine turned finished look.
The Model 10 is a Production kerambit and even though they look very different they both work just as well as the other. However the Model 8 is beefier in the hand.
I admit I gave him some heck for the delay but finally my patience paid off and I'm super pleased.
Richard, there will be more business coming your way from me that I promise. Now get back to work!
