:thumbup:I recently suffered a sharpening "malfunction" while trying to sharpen the serrations on one of my Spyderco knives. I thought all was lost and saw that Richard offered sharpening services and would do serrations. I contacted him about doing the knife and to make a long story short he did a fantastic job fixing the "mess" I sent him. The knife has never been sharper! Great communication, super fast turnaround, and real quality work.

Despite my best efforts to convince him otherwise Richard refused payment and did the work for free because of my military service. (I'm retired now).

All I can say is if you need a knife sharpened and want the best you won't do better. Richard knows what he's doing and most important he really cares and shows a lot of pride in his work..

Great work and a Great guy! I highly recommend!.

he sharpened about 7 of my knives from cheapo blade steel to the premium stuff. Every one of them came back razor sharp and turnaround time was only a few days. He is a great guy to work with (super affordable too)!

richard J is my go to guy, he's a class act , you should see what he can do on a chisel ground blade, my god not only are they sharp as hell , but his edges last forever.

Richard has provided service to me way above and beyond what was required. He's a gentleman and an asset to Bladeforums.

Richard is one of the best people you will ever deal with here.

You really can't say enough about the guy. You won't be disappointed and will look forward to doing business with him again.

Top notch all the way!

Yep, Richard is a great guy, he's great at what he does, his turn around time is phenomenal and he'll take the time to talk with you if you have questions.

Three cheers for Richard J!
