****** SOLD, pending funds *********
Richard Rogers is probably best known for his magnificent handmade slip joint knives, but have a really nice fixed blade made by him for sale. The knife has been used sharpened lightly, and is in about 97%+ condition to my eye. The sheath has a couple of scuffs on it. The CPM3V blade is 6 1/8 with a nice hand-rubbed finish, and was heat treated by Paul Bos. The blade is flat ground and quite sharp. Excellent grinds.
The handle is made from green micarta and measures about 5. The contours of the handle make for a comfortable and secure grip for even a large hand. The handle construction is hidden tang inside a solid block of green canvas micarta. Overall a very nice camp knife that is elegant, well-balanced, and built for serious use.
The knife comes with a nice hand-tooled sheath made by Richard Rogers, and a zippered case.
Price: $ 385, shipped in the CONUS. No trades.
Paypal cash transfer, or Paypal credit card + 3%, preferred. USPS Money order is fine too.
This knife will be sold to the first party who: 1) emails me that they will buy it, and 2) who responds to my return email within 24 hours about how they will pay. I pick up my email numerous times during the day. Thanks.
