Just sayin'!!

This post is long over due, and I am sorry for that. This guy can put an edge on a knife that will redefine sharp. He fixed my favorite custom, and it cuts better now than it did when I bought the damn thing! If you need an edge fixed, or if you want to REALLY worry about accidentally cutting yourself when you handle your knife, let this guy work on it.
 
I agree 100%...I have sent Richard many of my knives in the past and he always returns them hair splitting sharp. I have spoken to him on the phone and he is a great guy. Highly recommended!!!! Richardj is the man!
 
I need to chat with him about his paper wheel stuff, but all my free time is spent with the kid, or working hot steel these days. When I can hammer in a decent bevel, then I will worry about getting it stupid sharp.
 
Agreed. He has helped me and a lot of other members get started with the paper wheels. Richard is a great guy!
 
Richard is a great guy to meet and an absolute font of knowledge when it comes to sharpening. If you ever get to his neighborhood he is a great teacher too.
He sharpened a bunch of blades for me and showed me exactly how he did it and what I was doing wrong.
 
Yes, I have spoken to him before as well, very helpful and freely gives of his time and knowledge. He has not sharpened anything for me, but did convince me to purchase a set of paper wheels. Thanks Richard
 
I asked Richard to make me a knife for my son's birthday. He went out of his was to make me a beautiful knife on a very short time period. The knife got to me and when I gave it to my son, he was thrilled. If you ever need a nice knife, please consider Richard, as he has impressed me.
By the way, that knife is scary sharp.

Richard J is the man! +1! He is the god of sharpening! He redefines what sharp is! His edges are described as scary sharp! Rightfully so! And you couldnt ask for a nicer gent! He does all my sharpening. RJ keep spinnin them wheels man!!
