Named his "elf cutlass" by Mr. Barrett, this sword is a laminated construction of different pattern welded billets creating a fantastic visual effect. I believe the steels are 15n20 and 5160. The fittings are cast bronze, and the grip is hand carved zircote.

A great sword from one of the most prominent smiths in America in mint, unused, condition. Paid $3600, sale price is $3000 including shipping and insurance inside the Continental US. Checks will take 5 days to clear, paypal please add the 3% fee.

This is a functional sword as well as an art piece, so it is sharp.

Blade length is 24 inches and handle is 12 inches. Plenty of room for a 2 handed grip allowing very powerful cuts.

No scabbard but I bet Rick could make something that matches. I've seen some really nice work from him in that department. Check out his website if you haven't already. http://www.barrettcustomknives.com/contemporary_swords

As for a deal, what did you have in mind? If you want to pay half now and half next month I can hold the sword and ship after the second payment. When I bought the sword from Rick I did three $1200 payments (it was being made during that time), so I'm open to a similar arrangement.
