Rick Hinderer Damascus
Here are 2 of my Rick Hinderer custom damascus art knives that Rick made for me in the late 1990's. I was visiting hs old shop and was snooping around and found an old bar of damascus he had forged and th rew into his scrap pile. After bugging im until he agreed to make these knives for me. The first knife was a design we worked out together. We called it The Dragon Claw. The second knife is a window pane cesign that he made to surprise me.
The Dragon Claw OAL measured around the curve is 6”, the cutting edge is 2 3/4”. The scales are Mammoth Ivory. The 3 dots are MOP. Knife is embellished with extensive file work.
The Window Pane knife has an OAL of 5 3/4”, Closed length is 3 1/2”, the Blade length is 2 1/4”. This knife is also embellished with extensive file work on scales and back spine. .
Window Pane inserts are Mammoth Ivory.
Ricks' signature is very hard to read in the damascus pattern, but they are there.
I believe these are possibly the last 2 damascus art knives that Rick made.
The Dragon Claw is priced at $2600.00
The Window Pane folder is priced at $2750.00
Knives will be shipped insured, bubble wrapped securely, and in a hard plastic pistol case
