I have a mint condition Rick Hinderer Inferno framelock with textured titanium handle slabs, a textured black G-10 inlay, and a satin-finished S30V spearpoint blade for sale. Rick is one of the top established makers of tactical/utility folders, and his work is well known for its sturdy build and tight tolerances. This particular Inferno is a great example of the quality of Rick's work.
The Inferno listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Rick is very sharp. The action is very smooth, and knife opens easily with a flick of the thumb. I uploaded a video here to demonstrate the action. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.
***SOLD***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 5/8" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8 1/4"
Blade thickness: Just under 5/32" at ricasso
Blade material: S30V
Blade finish: Handrubbed flats, satin grinds
Edge: Plain
Handle slab material: Titanium, textured and beadblasted, with textured black G-10 inlay
Lock: Titanium frame lock, beadblasted
Backspacer: 2 stand-offs, polished
Clip: Titanium, beadblasted, interchangeable between tip up and tip down carry
For payment on this piece, I can take USPS money orders and PayPal (add 3% to cover most of the PayPal fees). I can also take a personal check if I know you. If you are paying by PayPal, the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I reserve the right to wait for payments to clear before I ship.
I will consider trades (with appropriate cash adjustment) for custom folders and certain custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:
JL Williams
Charles Marlowe
Tim Galyean
Deryk Munroe
Jim Smyth
Kit Carson
Jim Burke
Gerry McGinnis
DB Fraley
Bob Lum
Mike Snody
Sal Manaro
Scott Cook
Ernie Emerson
Rick Hinderer
Matt Cucchiara
Todd Begg
Tom Mayo
Neil Blackwood
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Flavio Ikoma
I may consider trades for other custom folders or balis not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives, or fixed blades other than those by John Young or Russ Andrews.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
