Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

Just got the one on the bottom in today. I might sell the one on the top, since I don't need two slicers.

Just hanging out in the backyard while my oldest (3) plays in the rock box I made for them. It's like a sandbox but filled with pea gravel instead. Also filled with construction trucks.

 
There is a theme to this picture... (and I finally scored a black Flashpoint! Now I want a black Fieldtac, it never ends, does it?)

Jim your black DLC collection is incredible. I love when you give us glimpses of your herd. Every one of those knives is a grail. My black slicer is the crown jewel in my collection. I can see why you like them so much. Pictures actually do them no justice. In person they are stunning. I want to track down a 3.5 black spanto or black 3 in next.
 
Wow, that's an amazing collection there. I'd have to say that my favorite is the two-tone DLC-coated XM at the bottom right. Love that contrast.

BT will certainly elaborate, however that is the very, very rare Zurich SWAT, an incredible addition to his already amazing collection! Thanks for sharing.
 
Final Option is correct, a few years ago Rick made a small batch of these for the Zurich SWAT team, and a few made it into the wild.

What Jim failed to mentioned is that he had two of them at one time...

They are pretty rare, I believe they were the first DLC and first serrated models and I don't believe Rick Hinderer Knives has done any serrated XMs since.
