This is an interesting XM.......
It is one of the very last Gen 2 3" XMs RHK made......
It is one of a small number of spantos that were released in mid-April........with the logo & S35VN blade steel.
And it is one of a VERY small subset that was not stonewashed.......this one was bead blasted.....but there were a few chocolate DLCs and one green ano'd spanto.
And if you know what you are looking for.......you can see (almost) all this information just by looking at the lockside.......
It's a pretty cool little piece of RHK history.........or at least I think so......

Got my cf frag in today and decided to switch out the brass for my bronze ti hardware. I like the look, I think it is going to stay like this for a while!!

Last night I was looking for a pen that one of my buddies gave me a decade ago on the day he was married, for being one of his groomsmen........
I don't know about you guys but I have a few drawers that "stuff" invariably collects.......so I always check them first......
On drawer number 3, I found a piece of silver my grandfather presented me with 2 days after I was born, some 40 (or so) years ago.......but still looking for the damn pen.......

Any guesses?

Silver bar??? I had some my Grandfather bought me when I was a kid and lost them when I moved :(

Yup.......Chris, that was fast......
Thought it would look cool with the XM so I took a pic.....
I "find" it every once in a while........then put it back in the drawer.......only to "find" it again down the road.......
Don't really know what to do with it but it's the only thing I have from my grandfather........so every time I find it.......it brings up a whole slew of really great memories.......
It's a literal and an emotional treasure.........
