Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

Hello Gents. . . I am new to the RH knife world and am very intrigued by the designs, quality, and mystique behind them. I am saving my pennies (literally, pennies) to purchase an XM-18, Gen 4, 3", CTS-XHP, Slicer Grind, CF scales unit (yes, I have been considering my options for quite some time!) I presently own a few Chris Reeve knives and I was hoping some of you fortunate souls who currently own any 3" Hinderers would be willing to post some pictures of yours next to a small Sebenza 21 from several angles (front, back, side, blade closed, blade opened, etc, etc.) I would like to see how it compares in size and shape. I appreciate any efforts made.

Sorry to say, but as of now 3" XM18's aren't offered in that configuration. So far, they are only available in Duratech 20CV blade steel, and the only current production blade shape is spanto. Maybe this will change in 2012? I wouldn't put it past em, theyve been really changing the game here lately!! Hope you get your dream knife eventually!!

I'd like a custom with the nightmare or hellfire (whatever that wicked karambit grind is called) blade, in an XM-24 chassis with a bronze ano'ed ti scale and standoffs, clip & filler. Slap my *ss and hand me to my momma - what knife that would be! :D

Congrats uncle wong! What a coincidence, but that exact same Hinderer is also my first Hinderer (assuming yours is 3.5"), which I got only a couple weeks ago. It's a beauty!

Thank You . I like it very much & i hope to get a slicer as well .

LD How you like that Orange in person? Looks great in the Pic.

It's my second orange G10 knife, (the first if a fixed blade PSK knife), and I really like this Hinderer. It is bright, but not neon. Everyone I know carries different brands of knives, so it makes it easy to know that this XM-18 is mine!

Cool! next you should get the Blue or Yellow. Vibrant tasteful colors.

My meager cntributions.

I didn't see too many of these, in fact you don't see too many of them period, so I thought I'd input these. My photo skills with the digital camera are... well, tolerable at best. They say these are easier to use - my butt! Easier to USE yes but get something worthwhile out of? Hardly. I want to get a chance to take some really good pictures with my antique cameras - they are quirky and slow and wierd, but I can REALLY control everything about the picture and I get some decent results from it. At any rate, untill I get a chance to do that, These will have to suffice. Hope everyone likes them!

I took two of the blade up close, showing signature and profile, one color one B&W, and one of the whole knife. I've attched both larger externally supported, and smaller thumbnails from the internal server, in case one or the other goes down. Sometimes these servers slightly alter or color the pictures too, in my experience. Either way, both repesented here for your appreciation.

I think at some point I'm going to call up Hinderer and see if I can get either a tan or multicam sheath for this - the digital doesn't work with any of my gear. The knife itself is AWSOME though. Big kudos to Mr. Hinderer for this one!
