I mentioned in a thread in the Fiddleback subforum that I had been admiring his leather-wrapped kydex sheaths for the Fiddleback Hiking Buddy that I won due to the extreme generosity of another excellent businessman, the inestimable Whitty at USA Made Blade. Well, he ran across my comment and PMed me letting me know he could put one together for me quickly and at a very reasonable price! I said yes without a second thought and then he maintained excellent lines of communication throughout the build and got it out to my house quickly.
I specify my HOUSE as I was, unfortunately, not there for the next 3 weeks, so I only got the sheath in hand yesterday. Well, now that I have it in hand I'm delighted. I love the look and feel of a leather sheath, but all too often I find myself missing the practicality of kydex when I wear one. This is a nice, elegant solution that allows the best of both worlds. Retention is just about perfect.
I would happily do business with Mr. Lowe in the future and strongly recommend his services.
