Here is a Rick Menefee single blade knife with butterscotch micarta covers. This knife is used. I carried it frequently for the past 2 years. It has a scratch on the blade on the mark side that runs parallel to the edge for most of the blade. The scratch was there was I received the knife, which I bought new from a well-known seller of Rick's knives. Difficult for me to photograph.
The backspring is noticeably shallow in all 3 blade positions. I believe I have captured this in some of the pictures.
I have sharpened this knife using diamond stones and ceramics, and it is currently sharp.
I showed this knife to Rick at the 2010 Blade Show. He told me that butterscotch micarta is one of his favorites, and he confirmed that this knife has milled liners. 154cm steel. 3 5/8" closed length.
$225 including shipping. I accept payment via paypal. I will ship to contiguous 48 US states via USPS with signature confirmation. There is no box or case; knife only.
The scratch is almost visible in this picture. It runs just above the bevel from the sharpening notch to just before the belly & tip.
Centered blade
You can see the slightly shallow backspring here. It is enough that you can feel it, or catch a fingernail on the liner between the pivot pin and backspring pin.
