Rick Menefee Knives...

Beating? These guys are knifemakers for goodness sakes! Shoot! They are probably collaborating on a design for a new knife called the "Blues Chopper" as we speak! :p

"Hey Bret, did you hear what that Blues feller said about us?"

"Sure did. What say we just build us a Blues Chopper and enter that cuttin' contest down in Atlanta next year?"

"That'll work. I got his Hee-Haw right here!"

Nice slim trappers Rick!
I'm fond of those guys myself. Maybe some day?:D

I know Elliott is the moderator and he gets the final say, but I really hope he DOES NOT post any pictures of the "Blues Spey Blade"!

I wouldn't worry so much about seeing the blade as the aftermath...I'm just sayin'...

I got a better deal than my wife did. My wife tells me I am ruggedly handsome. Don't know what Brett's wife was thinkin.

Rick, that was the best laugh I've had all day!!!:cool::p:D

I would not worry about what knife they used on you but where did you end up. You have to realize these boys travel in places where the sun never shows and nobody ever makes it back there. I just wouldn't want to go on any truck rides with them.

No worries Blues, I got your back.

Oh wait a minute, that Menefee fellow is kinda big, and that Dowell guy looks like he was a guard for the Sooners. Could break me in 1/2 with one hand.

Never mind, you are on your own brother. :D

Menefee's a big pussycat. And anybody that can make a knife as pretty as Bret, well, I'll take my chances. ;):D

(You couldn't find a couple of better friends. Now, Dan Burke, that guy scares me!;):D)

Burkes a great guy. He has helped me a lot. We talk most everyday. Hide you wife and you daughters that are over 20 and theyre will be no problems.Theyre is a lot of slipjoint makers know in Okie land. Burkes started most of these guys or has helped.

That's a nice pocket pruner, Vince. I like the subtle curve in the edge.

That pruner is sublime. I can't believe how many different patterns Rick has put out. Gotta respect that willingness to keep expanding the Menefee catalog.

That is amazing and that's coming from someone who has no use for a pruner.

Hi guys, recently my order with Rick came up and I took delivery of one of his latest knives, what a wonderful thing it is too..:D, it's the first modern custom quality folder I've had the chance to see and handle.

A nice size measuring 3 3/4", the folder has stainless bolsters, spun pins and fancy shield, all look great, as do the jigged dyed scales, they have a sort of smooth time worn feel, the 154 CM blade is perfectly ground, blisteringly sharp !, great walk and talk.

Immaculate workmanship, hugely impressive..
