Rick Menefee Knives...

It would be a challenge to say anything that is not nice about Mr. Menefee. Rick, we are only telling it like it is, so you are most welcome. We all benefit greatly from your dedication to knifemaking and your friendship.

I was fortunate to be at the right place, at the right time to bag this sweet carbon-fiber clip blade dogleg on the Maker's For Sale forum. Its my favorite pattern from Rick and this one is a fine modern twist on an age-old classic.

It's a dandy! Hard to beat one of Rick's knives.. Dogleg with
a clip blade... Man that's nice!

After 20 years of using the same fillet knife, I decided to upgrade. The only person I would consider to replace my much loved old Rapala fish slicer was Rick.
I know fillet knives are among his least favorite to grind, so I am bustin' with grateful appreciation for the man. He sent me these pics last night.
I have a very anticipated fishing trip up north to Lake Vermilion coming up and I am hoping that after that I can post some action pics if we don't get skunked.
Enjoy! :)

It wont have a great deal of flex maybe the last third of the knife.Wish I could have kept it! Corey has been very patient and it came out TOP SHELF!

Terrible picture but i want to show Rick's smaller Fillet knife. This one is OAL 9 7/8", blade 5 1/4".

This is the same knife. I just narrowed it a little. Corey's is a proto- I cut two out one for myself and one for Corey.

Great looking knife, I really love that Fillet knife.
Not sure about the lanyard though, some old leather and it would be perfect.

Corey, You lucky dog...lol. You gotta a dandy right there. The "big man" did
a great job on that thing! I know you'll enjoy using it. Congrats buddy.

Thanks all! Maybe we can get an action pic if I catch anything this weekend.

Thanks for the nice comment. I am proud Corey owns it and will use it! T.B. told me many times one of the real joys in life is to use fine knifes. I make user grade knives nothing else!

Ps. Anybody wears one of my knifes out they get new ones for nothing!
P.s Unless i dont Like u

Rick,
You make great knives. I find a great deal of joy using your knives. I'm lucky that I cut for a living. Using your knives 40 hours a week makes work a lot funner. -Izzy
