Rick Menefee Knives...

Rick, Bret would probably just call it a drop point Hunter, but when he first traced out the design and sent me a pic, it said " RF Hunter" on the blade. I was kinda messing with Bret when I told him he should just call it that. He did post a pic of the carbon fiber one he made for me and titled it " RF Hunter " on his site. In reality, all I had originally asked him was if he could make up something new for me by using the semi-skinner handle from one of his knives and a drop point blade profile. Those boys over at the "Campfire" love that Gene Ingram handle look too.

7 1/2 blade 1/8 stock distal taper from name stamp both direction to .007 . 154cm - 3 tempers, 2 cryo. From the bur to the top no hump. Contoured black paper with orange g-10 liners.
Rick, that fillet knife is killer. What are the specs? OAL, thickness etc?

That tuna sword is awesome!
Wish I caught fish large enough to warrant steel that big ;)
Corey your fish are long. These big cat, striper, spoon are wide

King of gec knifes brought this one over the side last month with 20 lb test. I almost lost it for him - trying to get him bent in half to get in the net.

Saved the best fixed blade for last. Beautiful matched elephant scales / sheath insert / hand finished satin.

Am blaming Rick for those fingerprints on the spine ... love the contrast provided by the black spacers and how they complement the lines in the ivory.

Chief, what time is it?

I think I blacked out for a while after seeing the ivory B&T. :D

The big man outdid himself on that one!

HAHAHA! This made me laugh out loud!! I completely agree, that is a sweeeeet lil blade, I love the long swege... and the scales and fit n' finish leave me speechless...

Rick makes killer fixed blades (especially that ivory bird and trout), but folding knives are my heart's desire.

None are mine, all sold to other lucky folks. I live not far from Rick and go visit the big man every now and then.

I guess that can be good and bad.....

Always a pleasure to see Ricks work, thanks for sharing. -

Rick is one of the makers that collects knives too. I did some horse trading with him a few years ago and still need to put in my order.....:)

Al I never sell except my own so I will always have that big Bowie. Order anytime and I'll take care.

Cattle knives, are super designs, i particularly like the clip main blade over the spear point.
Lovely combination with the stag covers.
